Kevin is recognized as one of Northern Michigan’s top producers within the commercial real estate industry. Specializing in investment real estate, land development, and national tenant representation, he has transacted over $50 million in commercial real estate volume throughout Michigan.
Before transitioning to commercial real estate, Kevin worked on several land-centric projects throughout the world. Earning a B.S. in Crop & Soil Science with a minor in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University, he joined global water security initiatives with SWRT Solutions – working with landowners throughout the world on water security technologies designed for agricultural producers. He then brought his skills and connections back to Northern Michigan – joining Cochran, Cowell & Gruman, a middle-market PE firm that focused on M&A and real estate development. It was at this firm that Kevin began to hone his expertise in financial modeling and deal flow prospecting through a farmland redevelopment company based out of Traverse City, Fruit Belt Farms
A Traverse City native, born and raised on Old Mission Peninsula; Kevin is deeply connected to his community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Traverse City Curling Club as Vice President, and coaches junior curling. In his free time, he enjoys camping, exploring the outdoors, and travelling internationally.

Mitchell joined Manitou CRE in 2025, bringing deep experience in real estate acquisitions, development, and capital structuring. He also serves as the Director of Real Estate at Clipper Harbor Capital, a real estate private equity firm based in Grand Rapids and Detroit, where he oversees deal sourcing and execution across diverse asset classes.
Before joining Clipper Harbor, Mitchell was an Investment Associate at Promanas, where he led due diligence on more than $1B of equity requests, negotiated debt and equity structures, and served as project manager for a $200M ground-up hotel development in Nashville.
Earlier in his career, Mitchell worked at REDICO and Oxford Companies. He also co-founded M22 Detailing, a high-growth auto services company in Traverse City.
A graduate of the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business with a BBA, Mitchell is a licensed real estate salesperson, private pilot, and certified dog dad.
